“If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever” (1Timothy 5:8).

Focussing on developing a community through peace and harmony should begin with individuals and families, as they are the smallest structural and functional unit of a community. When we analyze the root cause of violence and militancy in a community, it often originates from family issues.

Families are encouraged to develop a healthy, disciplined, well-communicated, stress-free lifestyle and support to deal with the pressures of today’s lifestyle by providing family counselling, promoting and practising peace yoga and by organising various family activities which help them to mingle, communicate and understand one another.
